Former FSU star Jalen Ramsey makes crucial Miami Dolphins career statement

The NFL regular season has come to an end after an eventful Week 18. For many clubs that missed the playoffs, it is time to make important decisions regarding coaching staff and player personnel. Changes are also needed in players who will have to make key free agency decisions.

One player making headlines early is Tyreek Hill. The Miami Dolphins’ superstar wide receiver no longer wants to stay with the club, as he has clearly stated in public. Another player on the Dolphins roster drawing attention is former Florida State Seminoles superstar Jalen Ramsey.

It was assumed that the NFL’s star defensive back was eager to reach the exit with Hill. He published a cryptic social media post on Instagram that many took as a signal that he wanted out.

Ramsey quickly went to X to deliver another message as fans speculated about his wishes.

“HUH,” Ramsey posted with a laughing emoji. “Y’all gonna drive everyone crazy lol”

Alongside the message in the post, Ramsey added a Russell Westbrook GIF to further clarify that his Instagram Story has nothing to do with his decision regarding the Dolphins.

The 30-year-old defensive back played in 17 games for Miami, although the franchise missed the playoffs for the first time since 2021. The Florida State product was strong, tallying two interceptions and adding 60 tackles with 11 passes defensed.

Ramsey has now been with the Dolphins for two seasons after being traded from the Los Angeles Rams following the 2022 season. It appears the former Seminole will remain in Florida regardless of the team’s current status or Hill’s wishes.

If the star defenseman runs out the remainder of his contract, he will remain in South Florida through the 2028 season, although he may be able to leave after next season.
