Former LSU teammates Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. support Jayden Daniels in the Commanders-Bucs playoff game

It’s been a spectacular year for the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Danielswho led the Washington Commanders to a playoff appearance as a rookie.

And it’s clear that some bonds from Daniels’ college days remain today.

How strong? Well, two of his former wideouts showed up to support him in Sunday night’s Wild Card round game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Malik Nabers And Brian Thomas Jr. were both spotted at Raymond James Stadium. Check it out below.

The trio was absolutely deadly LSU during their stay there. And the success has carried over to all three at the professional level, starting with Jayden Daniels.

Daniels made the Pro Bowl as a rookie while also earning a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team.

The rookie quarterback put up absurd numbers in his first season in the league. Jayden Daniels finished the regular season with a 69% completion rate and threw for 3,568 yards and 25 touchdowns with nine interceptions. He also ran for 891 yards and six scores.

Not to be outdone, Nabers and Thomas also had spectacular rookie seasons.

Nabers was also named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team after catching 109 passes for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns for the New York Giantts.

Thomas, meanwhile, was also named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team after recording 87 catches for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also ran six times for 48 yards.

A nice show of support for Jayden Daniels as he looks to extend his season into the postseason.
