Fort Riley Mann, who was arrested in Junction City after murder examinations on Saturday

Junction City, Kan. (Wibw) – A Fort Riley man was arrested in Junction City after a murder examination on Saturday.

Officials from the Junction City police department were sent to the 900 Block of the Kram Court in response to a report on a shootout on Saturday, February 1st, shortly before 1:00 p.m.

When the officials arrived, they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to Stormont Vail Flint Hills, where he was later died. The victim was identified as a 22-year-old male Larron D. Carter by Junction City. An autopsy is planned for later this week.

After an investigation, official Jonathan M. Lee, a 27-year-old man from Fort Riley, arrested in connection with the incident. Lee was taken to the Geary County Detention Center, where he is held without charges for first -time murder.
