Four Alabama cafes that are listed among the 100 best cafes in the world

Prevail Union with locations in Montgomery, Birmingham and Atlanta took 17th place on the list.
Other recognized Alabama shops are Turbo Coffee, Seeds Coffee Company and Domestique coffee.
The 100 best cafes in the world use a combination of public voices and expert opinions to determine the ranking.

Four coffee houses based in Alabama have brewed on the list of 100 best coffee shops from the world’s best coffee shops.

The 100 best coffee shops in the world, an organization that is looking for the best coffee shops worldwide, based on “a comprehensive criteria”, is based on cafés worldwide.

On the recently published list, Prevail Union – with locations in Montgomery, Birmingham and Atlanta – achieved a top -20 place that was in 17th place in the world. The only café based in the USA in the global list is the Onyx Coffee Lab in Arkansas.

Other locations in Alabama are on the list Turbo Coffee, Seeds Coffee Company and Domestique coffee that go into numbers 72, 66 and 47.

The 100 best cafés in the world use an electoral system with several phases. In the first case, the public coordination follows and calls all coffee enthusiasts to show love for your favorite places online. A group of coffee experts from specialties then evaluates all publicly nominated voices according to a variety of criteria, including the quality of the coffee, the barista experience, customer service, innovation, ambience, sustainability, food and pastries quality and – consistency.

The results are then calculated on a weighted system, whereby the public votes count 30% of the final result and expert opinions for 70%. After all of this, the final selection is announced.

“We are at a loss for words. It’s pretty amazing, her,” she posted on Facebook. “We couldn’t have done it without you or our amazing baristas who embody really unreasonable hospitality.”

The hours in her location Dexter Avenue in Montgomery are from Monday to Thursday, from 7 p.m. to 6 p.m., from Friday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. to 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. See hours for other locations in Atlanta and Birmingham on your website.
