Fox News host Laura Ingraham confuses black lawyers

Confusing well-known African Americans is always a problem, especially when speaking to millions. Fox News and its Laura Ingraham had one I’ve had a long history of weaknesses and mix-ups, and this week was no different. But it was Ingraham’s attempt to clean up her mistake that turned out to be… well, awkward.

Last week, the host went on a rant during a segment on “The Ingraham Angle,” criticizing officials, district attorneys and judges involved in trials against President-elect Donald Trump, particularly calling out Jack Smith for Alvin BraggAnd Fani Willis.

As images of the officers were shown, Ingraham declared: “History will remember Jack Smith and Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis and the judges who let these cases go as far as today’s Keystone Cops who prosecuted Trump.” They hunt him and are trying to keep him away from the campaign because they hate his plans.”

The only problem: The black woman who showed up on people’s screens wasn’t Willis, it was her Letitia Jamesthe New York Attorney General, who filed a civil lawsuit against Trump and even threatened to confiscate some of them A billionaire’s New York skyscraper.

Shortly after, Ingraham attempted to explain and apologize for the show’s mistake. But it seemed half-hearted as she quickly shot both Willis and James.

“We accidentally showed a graphic that showed a photo of another vicious anti-Trump figure, Letitia James, when we were talking about Fani Willis,” she said, but then added. “So that was our mistake. But they both hate Trump.”

We’ll never forget what she said about LeBron James when she infamously told him, “Shut up and dribble” when the NBA star criticized Trump in 2019.
