Friends, family gather

Atlanta family and friends of the rapper Young Scooter gathered on Thursday evening for a balloon publication in honor of the 39-year-old.

The young scooter, whose real name is Kenneth Bailey, died on his birthday after someone made a wrong 911 call to the house when he was at the time.

Hundreds of people showed themselves to the Bessie Branham Park in the Kirkwood district, the district where Bailey grew up.

“He put his foot in every area and on every side of Atlanta,” said friend Baby Jade Erren Rogers from Channel 2.

The medical examiner’s office said that Bailey’s cause of death was a “penetrating injury to the right thigh” and listed his type of death as an accident. The report states that Bailey’s injury led to serious blood loss.

They said he injured wooden fence or wood rubble after jumping over at least one fence.

The police said she reacted to a house in William Nye Drive to move reports on fired shots and a woman to a house. When officials arrived, two men, of whom a Bailey were, ran to the police.

“I had just spoken to him at 6 a.m.,” said music lover DJ X-Rated World Word. “I think that happened at 6:20 a.m.. It broke my heart. It still breaks my heart.”

The police arrested Demetria Spence on Tuesday. It is accused of transferring a wrong public alarm.

A judge granted her bond on Wednesday, but from Thursday evening she had not bound to Fulton County’s prison.

“I hate that that had to happen, especially on his birthday,” said family’s girlfriend, Mary Ragsdale. “It was unnecessary.”

Family and friends said they are now concentrating on the legacy he left not only with his music, but also with a beloved father and mentor.

“Many children from his community did not constantly had fathers or this parental support, he always appeared and appeared,” said Baby Jade. “If you needed someone who came in the game when you needed a suit for the banquet, he was just incredible, and Atlanta scored a really big goal with it.”

The family still completes the funeral duty schedules, but said they would announce them by Friday.
