Frustration of Timberwolves fans can be traced back to the design of the night

The way Dillingham is used, for example, is not the way his role in June was initially presented by this coaching team in June. If you remember, the first news was that he would be the undisputed backup Point Guard for this team. It wasn’t something that Finch or someone tried to hide.

But what happened was that the September blockbuster trade completely changed this team, which would have to do with their newcomers. The Timberwolves designed Rob Dillingham and Terrence Shannon Jr. because they had a great need for perimeter -oriented talent and ball handler. After Donte Divincenzo and Julius Randle came to the city, this changed to a large extent.

The change in the role for Dillingham and others is not about Finch losing confidence in her, and it is not particularly about having a personal Vendenda against Rob. The reality is that the roles of these guys changed the moment of trade five months ago.

Does this mean that the fans cannot be frustrated how these players are used? Of course not. It is absolutely understandable to be disappointed how your seasons were treated, especially in view of the expectations of the pre -season. However, we have to understand that this situation is more complex than in the eye.
