Gamecocks welcome No. 2/2 Tigers on Saturday – University of South Carolina Athletics

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina (10-5, 0-2 SEC) continues to face another top-five team at home on Saturday, hosting No. 2/2 Auburn (14-1, 2-0 SEC) at Colonial Life Arena . Tip time is set at 1:00 p.m. (ET), doors open at 12:00 p.m.

Kevin Fitzgerald and Pat Bradley will be featured on the SEC Network broadcast.

The Tigers, who have won seven games in a row (T-7Th (longest active winning streak in the country via KenPom) are the sixth-ranked opponent (third in a row) the Gamecocks have faced so far this season. Auburn has also rattled off seven straight wins against Carolina since January 2020.

The Gamecocks are 1-1 at home against Top 25 opponents this season, with a 91-88 overtime win over No. 25 in-state rival Clemson on Dec. 17.

The first 5,000 fans will receive a rally towel from SAFE Federal Credit Union on Saturday.
