Gameday 73: Florida Panthers against Montreal Canadiens

Graphic design: Francisco Oporta

The Florida Panthers (44-25-3) will restore the first place in the first segment of a house and at home between the two rivals of the Atlantic Division in the Amerant Bank Arena when they align the Montreal Canadiens (33-30-9) in the Amerant Bank Arena.

After the Panthers had driven 2: 4 on a road trip with six games, they returned to Sunrise, where they achieved a 4: 3 shooting victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins and the 2-1 victory on Friday against the fading Utah Hockey Club. Sam Bennett scored both goals in Florida and scored the game winner with 42 seconds in the additional session from a sweet feed by newcomer Brad Marchand. The cats were perfect 4 against 4 at the penalty, and goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 13 out of 14 shots.

Despite a defeat of five games (0-3-2), the Canadia are still in search of the final playoff place in the Eastern Conference. On Friday, the Habs were hit 4: 1 by the Carolina Hurricanes and they came out of the second game card, which was claimed yesterday by the New York Rangers. Montreal leads the Rangers by two points with two games in hand, so that they want to defeat the Panthers for the third time this season to pull up again.
