Gas prices in the Midwest region are up compared to last week: See how much here

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, regional gas prices rose last week, reaching an average of $2.90 per gallon of regular fuel on Monday, up from last week’s price of $2.87 per gallon.

The average price of fuel in the Midwest region has fallen about 3 cents since last month. According to EIA, gas prices across the region last year were as low as $2.77 on January 8, 2024 and as high as $3.77 on August 14, 2023.

A year ago, the average gas price in the Midwest region was 3% higher at $2.99 ​​per gallon.
