Georgia football linebacker commits to Michigan

Georgia linebacker Troy Bowles has announced his commitment to Michigan.

With the 2024 college football regular season officially over, players across the country will begin announcing their plans regarding the transfer portal and the NFL Draft. This includes the Georgia Bulldogs, who are currently in the hunt for a national title.

Georgia was very active in the transfer portal last season, with many players leaving the roster while simultaneously adding new players to their roster through the portal. It has become a huge phenomenon in college football that all football programs have to deal with each offseason. The transfer portal officially opens on December 9th and will remain open until December 28th. There will also be a window that opens in the spring, but not until the end of April.

Linebacker Troy Bowles was one of the names to enter the portal and he has announced his commitment to Michigan. He was part of Georgia’s 2023 recruiting class and has seen time on the field as a reserve for the Bulldogs. The former four-star had five tackles and played in seven games overall over the past two seasons.
