Get in on our favorite gaming PCs this Cyber Monday with up to 0 off

I’m Matthew Buzzi, PCMag’s lead gaming PC reviewer. I’ve been with PCMag since 2015, which means I’ve reviewed hundreds of gaming PCs here over the years. I enjoy identifying the best value combinations of processors (CPUs), graphics processing units (GPUs), and feature sets for gaming laptops and gaming desktops.

After browsing through numerous Cyber Monday deals, I’ve selected four top gaming PC deals below, including three laptops and a desktop from Acer, Asus, Lenovo and MSI. A powerful graphics chip is crucial to a gaming system, and while each of these options has different price positions in their categories, all three have powerful GPUs and fast processors that will satisfy even the most demanding gamers.

Cyber Monday gaming laptop and desktop deals

MSI Katana A15 AI

Asus TUF Gaming A16

Lenovo LOQ 15

iBuy Power Y40

MSI Katana A15 AI

MSI Katana A15 AI

A mainstream gaming bargain just got even cheaper

$1,039.99

$1,299.99
Save $260.00

The MSI Katana A15 AI is already a real value proposition that gets even better with this Cyber Monday deal. The specs of this gaming laptop are more mid-range than budget, with a speedy AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS CPU, 32GB of memory, and a 1TB solid-state drive. That’s an excellent basis for the price, although the 144Hz 1080p screen is the base. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU is a stable and competent mainstream gaming GPU that isn’t often found at this price. The RTX 4050 (or lower) is more common at this price. Especially at 1080p resolution, the RTX 4060 can shine with smooth frame rates at high settings – just not up to the maximum. For everything else, the CPU and RAM ensure a fast experience. Gaming hardware can be expensive, and we’re offering this package at regular price, so a discount of almost $300 is a good deal. Although we didn’t test this particular model, a previous MSI Katana 15 model was at the top of our list of the best cheap gaming laptops for several months.

Asus TUF Gaming A16

For gamers looking for more than just entry-level performance, the Asus TUF Gaming A16 is a high-end laptop that’s discounted to a mid-range price for Cyber Monday. Available for $500 off, this laptop’s RTX 4070 GPU should catch any gamer’s attention and be able to play all modern games at high resolution and refresh rate. Even better: Its AMD Ryzen 9 7940HX CPU is said to deliver rapid performance in all areas and its 1 TB SSD leaves plenty of room for games. Its 16:10 display has a sharp QHD+ resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, allowing for clear and fast gaming, and Wi-Fi 6 should ensure smooth downloads and online gaming sessions. (Although the Ethernet port almost guarantees this.) We haven’t tested this exact model, but as we found with the smaller Asus TUF Gaming A14, this line is generally well built.

Lenovo LOQ 15

Lenovo LOQ 15

A bargain at the basement price

$784.99

$999.99
Save $215.00

The regular price of $999 for this Lenovo LOQ is a decent deal, but not one that would turn heads given the specs. However, with more than $200 off on Cyber Monday, it becomes a real bargain. It’s hard to get a gaming laptop for this price, and while these components won’t rock the world, they do give you access to mainstream gaming. An RTX 4050 GPU and an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor are enough for 1080p gaming, as long as you expect to reduce some details. (We recently tested an Intel GPU version of the Lenovo LOQ 15, and we can safely assume that the Nvidia model will perform better.) Everyone but hardcore gamers will be very happy with this system.

iBuy Power Y40

iBuy Power Y40

A budget tower for hardcore gamers

$1,199.00

$1,599.99
Save $400.99

If you don’t need to take your games with you on the go, I found a bargain on this iBuyPower desktop. It’s aimed more at hardcore gamers than casual players, but this Cyber Monday discount helps broaden its appeal. (We also tested an earlier version of the iBuyPower Y40 and gave it our Editors’ Choice award.) The Y40 has a tidy chassis, but has a nice large window through which you can view your valuable parts. It features an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, 16GB of memory, and a 1TB SSD. That’s a decent value for a $1,600 PC with this GPU, but if you’re paying $400 less, it’s a top deal.
