Godzilla release date in Fortnite and how to get the skin

Although the Battle Pass is already available, the skin will not be available for a while. That’s why we’ve detailed how you can unlock it and when it will appear in the game below.

It also looks like Godzilla will be appearing as a boss this season, with the trailers hinting that he’ll come to the island to do what he does best – wreak havoc and show everyone who’s in charge has.

Godzilla release date in Fortnite

Godzilla will be released well after the release of the new season, when he will finally be available on January 17, 2025, 6 a.m. GMT and 1 a.m. ET.

It’s an exciting addition to Fortnite and he’s listed as part of a set. So we hope to even bring some legendary monsters into the game, like King Kong.

Unlocking Godzilla will also be a task, so we’ve summarized everything we know about how to get the monster when it releases in January below.

How to get Godzilla in Fortnite

Godzilla is available as part of the Battle Pass, but not through any of the tiers; instead, It’s an extra drop later with its many challenges.

To unlock the skin, you must complete a series of challenges that appear next to the skin.

It is unknown at this time what the challenges will entail, but we will be sure to update this page as soon as they are released.

If we were to hazard a guess, it would have something to do with his arrival on the island.

Will Godzilla be a boss fight in Fortnite?

Chapter 6, Season 1 of Fortnite already has a few boss fights to complete, presenting a unique challenge for anyone who wants to test themselves.

Looking at the trailer where Godzilla was first teased, it looks like he will also appear as a threat on the full-size map, showcasing his power and representing a new type of threat on a larger scale , than we’ve seen so far in Fortnite.
