Golden Knights will see themselves from Detroit Red Flügel in six days for the second time Golden knight

Think of the last meeting between the golden knights and Detroit Red Wings, as if it had never happened.

Although you cannot simply throw away a 3-0 loss from six days ago, especially one that was profitable in the third period.

The knights had no energy after their approval when they came to Detroit to complete a road trip with four games on Sunday. They hope to return with the Red Wings in the T-Mobilile Arena for a more respectful hockey brand in the rescheduling.

“Not much of our game (on Sunday) looked good,” said coach Bruce Cassidy. “They got better in the course of the game.”

The knights (40-20-8) want to build a 5-1 win against the game of the game on Thursday against the Boston Bruins.

They exceeded Boston 32-19 and created a big lead in goal opportunities (29-19) and with high Danger chances (13-7). Boston only climbed onto the board for the last two minutes.

The right wing Pavel Dorofeyev had his second hat trick of the season and reached the 30 goal mark in the victory.

“Especially when they score goals, they become more confident,” said Center Tomas Hertl about his linemate. “If you get the way to score goals, you feel so much better. He works hard on his game with every game.”

Detroit (32-30-6) is still very alive in a crowded playoff race of the Eastern Conference, although it falls to 2-8: 0 in the last 10 games.

The Red Wings still have top-end talents in the leading goal scorer Lucas Raymond (69 points), captain Dylan Larkin (60 points) and top scorer Alex Debrincat (31 goals).

“You have a pretty good front corner. They play quickly, they have some experienced people and they are really good in the power play,” said Hertl. “We just have to be ready.”

The goalkeeper Adin Hill will start his second start in a row and achieve an 18-save performance on Thursday. That should pave the way for Ilya Samsonov to start the back-to-back against Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday on Sunday. “
