Golf: Brady Swedberg, Scott McDonald to take part in the PGA professional championship -Alexandria Echo Press

Alexandria-312 Golfer will come from the Alexandria area from April 27th to 30th April in the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Brady Swedberg from the Geneva Golf Club in Alexandria and Scott McDonald from Minnewaska Golf Club in Glenwood have qualified for the championship.

Swedberg and McDonald are two of seven Minnesota PGA professionals who take part in the tournament.

Swedberg and McDonald qualified for the PGA Professional Championship by putting the 94th Minnesota PGA Professional Championship on the Braemar Golf Course in Edina on top 26 to 27 August 2024. Swedberg took third place at the PGA Profi Championship 2024 Minnesota PGA (136, 8 Unter-PAR), while McDonald took the eighth (139, 5-uner) and secured the qualified last place.

The top 20 finishers at the PGA professional championship 2025 qualify from May 15th to 18th at the PGA championship 2025 in the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The first round of the PGA Professional Championship on Sunday is broadcast on a tape delay on the golf channel from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The last three rounds are broadcast from the golf channel from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. (central time).
