Gotham FC announces 2025 technical staff

Harrison, NJ (March 22, 2025) -Gotham FC announced his eleven-member technical staff on Saturday before his NWSL home kick-off from 2025 against Orlando after completing an extensive, monthly international background review procedure for the final employees of the third-party provider of the NWSL.

The staff was developed to comprehensively cover all aspects of team and player requirements, from data and video analyzes and scouting to units and individual development. The new additions in the past few months include a deputy head coach, assistant coach, head of analysis and performance analyst and scout.

“We are pleased to announce this incredible employee with experience at the highest level of our sport,” said Yael Averbuch West, General Manager and Head of Football at Gotham FC. “I am confident that this group will increase our sporting standards if we continue to build a global position in our game.”

Entry to head coach Juan Carlos Amorós On the bench for the game on Sunday Andy Spencewho joins Gotham FC as deputy head coach. Spence worked as an assistant coach of the Canada Women’s National Team for three years. During the 2024 Summer Olympics, he joined an interim head coach and led the Canadians to the KO tournament despite a deduction of six points. He also spent 14 years with Everton FC, including six seasons as head coach.

Assistant Shaun HarrisPresent AK Lakhani And Jen Lalor and head coach goalkeeper coach Brody Sams Returned for another season that worked on Amorós’ employees Guillermo Amorós As a Co -coach, met as a co -coach last season. Assistant goalkeeper trainer Michelle Betos started the club rod this winter after withdrawing from her career as a player. This included the Club captain for Gotham FC in their last seasons.

Anton BlackwoodA former youth player of Arsenal and Tottenham, who had two appearances for the national team of Antigua and Barbuda, joins a newly created role as head of player development and management. Blackwood, who previously worked on Amorós, was instrumental in helping Tottenham Hotspur to promote the FA Women’s Super League (WSL) and contributed to the final run of the 2024 final as a member of the coaching staff.

Also from Tottenham Hotspur is also Zoë Matthesonwhich was directed as an analysis. Mattheson spent more than seven years in Tottenham, overlapped Amorós and several other Gotham FC employees and worked with the men’s academy and the first team of women. Juan Coste Delvecchio Came on board as Performance analyst and scout in the middle of the 2024 campaign.
