“Grey’s Anatomy” star reveals why she doesn’t let her daughter see the show

“Grey’s Anatomy” star Ellen Pompeo is not ready for her youngest daughter to watch her long -time medical drama thanks to his famous racy scenes.

When Pompeo appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last week, he said: “My 15-year-old saw it. And now my 10-year-old wants to see what she is not ready, but many children in her class have seen it.”

“I don’t want my daughter to see me in my underwear on TV, but all have their classmates” and add a laugh with a laugh, “that makes a great conversation when picking up.”

She also said: “No judgment about other parents” who show their children the show.

Pompeo shares three children with her husband Chris Ivery, daughters Stella and Sienna and the son Christopher.

“Grey’s Anatomy” was premiered on ABC in 2005, and Pompeo resigned from the show in season 19. Her title character Meredith Gray is still telling episodes, and Pompeo serves as an executive producer.

When it comes to the long -term series, Pompeo admits that she does not see any emotional old episodes, “because I don’t remember half of it.”

“I’m just how, when did that happen?” She said with a laugh.

In 2023, Pompeo found in an interview with her “Grey’s” Ko -star Katherine Heigl for diversity that the line -up was filled with the show and prompted the audience to really connect with it.

“One of the reasons why the show influenced people so much is that we were so emotional. We were able to create so much emotions. And that always leads to amazing performances. Whether actors torture themselves or we torture each other, the result is good and the authors know that,” she said.
