Grizzlies surprisingly head coach just before Game VS Lakers surprisingly celebrate

Shortly before their game against Los Angeles Lakers, the Memphis Grizzlies announced that they released head coach Taylor Jenkins. This is really a shock for everyone in the NBA, and nobody saw it coming.

Memphis GM Zach Kleiman published an explanation of the incident.

“I really appreciate that Taylor’s contributions to this team and this city were a difficult decision in the last six seasons given the consistent and tangible development of our players and overall success under Taylor’s lead. I wish Taylor.

This is really a shocking step of the grizzlies shortly before the beginning of the off -season. Memphis is one of the better teams in the Western Conference, so this step surprised everyone.

The grizzlies are currently sitting with a record of 44-29 in the season and are in number 5 in the west rating. Memphis was seen as one of the better teams this year, but they have been derailed a little lately.

With this game against the Lakers morning, Memphis will look at an interim head coach. Similar to the Sacramento kings Mike Brown at the beginning of the season, Los Angeles will take over a team that leaves a shot.

Los Angeles will try to get back on the track after a bad defeat against the Chicago Bulls. The Lakers blew a late lead against Chicago and could not recover. In the end, Chicago hit a game -winning shot of half a place to sink the Lakers at home.

This game against the grizzlies has massive playoff effects because the two sides are connected in the overall ranking. The winner would at least initially claim seed No. 4 for himself.
