Hampi rape: Described Kannada and Telugu could recognize, claims Homestay owners claim
The Karnataka police arrested the third suspect Saranabasava in the rape of Chennai. Three defendants allegedly attacked two women, including an Israeli citizen near the Hampi Heritage location on March 6th.

After the incident, the police have strengthened the security measures and reinforced the patrol in the region. “We have increased and inspect the night patrols regularly. We also use NDPS kits for checks and have booked ten cases in the past three months. These surprise inspections are continued, and all violations are only dealt with,” added SP.
The crime occurred in the night of March 6th near the Hampi Heritage location in the Vijayanagara district of Karnataka. According to the police, two women, including an Israeli citizen, were allegedly raped by three men, while a male tourist who accompanied them was later found dead.
According to the investigation, a group of five years, a 29-year-old Bomerestay operator, three male tourists and an Israeli tourist-concerns Stargazing in the Tungabhadra Canal near Sanapur. SP Arasiddi confirmed that two of the accused, Sai Mallu and Chethan Sai, were previously arrested by Gangavathi. “On March 6, five people – two women and three men – were attacked by three attackers. The attackers attacked the three men and sexually attacked the two women. We had arrested two suspects earlier, and now the case was progressing with the arrest of the third party,” he said.
The police continue to investigate the case and take further steps to ensure justice for the victims.
