Hannah Einbinder Wants This Comic Genius to Guest Star on ‘Hacks’ Season 4 (Exclusive)

Hacks is a show designed for guest stars. The HBO comedy about Deborah Vance (Jean Smart), a veteran comedian mounting a comeback, and her millennial writer/assistant Ava Daniels (Hannah Einbinder) is set in the world of showbiz. Whether book authors, managers, actors, agents or other comedians – the Emmy-winning comedy has lots of exciting roles to fill.

In the first three seasons Hacks managed to get hold of some of these Laurie Metcalf (as Deborah’s regimented tour manager), Helen Hunt (as a pickleball-obsessed network manager) and Christina Hendricks (as a lesbian Republican golfer) for performances while racking up an impressive eight Emmy nominations for guest acting (Metcalf even won gold!).

With season four underway, there’s more potential than ever before – and Einbinder has a handful of fellow artists she’d like to see on set.

“I think because season 4 of Hacks “The focus is on Deborah’s late night show. There are lots of opportunities for cool people to join in and even play,” said Einbinder parade exclusively.

So who are her ideal guest stars? She has a few suggestions, including her friend and The bear star Ayo Edebiri. “I think it would be cool if Ayo moved forward,” Einbinder said. “That would be so sick. She’s so funny.”

She also mentioned Irish actors by name Kerry Condon And Saoirse Ronan.

However, her dream co-star is none other than Jim Carrey.

“He’s pretty much my favorite guy,” she said parade des Truman Show Star. “Basically favorite comedian of all time. That would be cool if Jim Carrey was there.” Hacks. I just want to meet him.

While Carrey hasn’t taken on many roles outside of Sonic the Hedgehog franchise in recent years, we’re hoping the legendary comedian stops by Late Night with Deborah Vance.
