Have Stranger Things fans found out when Season 5 premieres?

They were given an officially licensed calendar for 2025 for Christmas and noticed that “some dates are titled with the word Stranger Things.” These are: May 14th, July 6th, October 11th and December 28th.

These seemingly random dates appear to have no meaning in the universe (unlike November 6th, the day Will Byers went missing, also known as Stranger Things Day). Therefore, many fans suspect that Netflix is ​​planning a teaser for May 14th, a trailer for July 6th, and the season will be split into two volumes, releasing on October 11th and December 28th. That might make sense since filming has just wrapped and there are still months of post-production work ahead.

However, October 11th and December 28th are a Saturday and a Sunday, respectively, and Netflix typically doesn’t release shows over the weekend. One Reddit user also pointed out, “I had one Stranger Things There were several days on the calendar before Season 3 came out and there were days like that marked Stranger Things scattered all over the place, and unfortunately none of them meant anything.”

Maybe these dates mean something (May 14th is George Lucas’s birthday!), but more likely they were chosen at random. A better bet is that the final episodes will be released on or around Stranger Things Day 2025, a Thursday.
