His current enrollment at Lambrook School is about to end and the royal parents must decide where to send the future king for his next education.

Kate and William are reportedly arguing over where their son should go.

Kate herself attended Marlborough College between 1996 and 2000 and this is said to have reinforced her preference.

Both schools enjoy incredible prestige and high regard.

However, Kate may change her mind about Marlborough, if a source who spoke to The Mirror is to be believed.

They said: “The 2024 version of Marlborough could be very different to what Kate remembers. She’s become a little more jet-setting. Many parents have villas in Ibiza, chalets in Verbier or a private jet, which is not Kate’s style.” . She prefers understated wealth.”

It has been reported that George, who may attend Eton, is leaving his mother “heartbroken” as she believes the school is too “stuffy” for her son.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl shared: “Kate prefers George to attend a co-educational school so he can be with his siblings, which Kate experienced in Marlborough with her sister Pippa and brother James. It was a…”It was a very happy school life for her, but William has very fond memories of Eton, which has a long history of aristocrats and members of the royal family.”

She added: “Whatever happens, it will be a decision by William and Kate that takes George’s best interests into account.”

Nicholl reflected on George’s experiences at Lambrook during Kate’s cancer diagnosis.

She shared: “When Kate was in hospital, George was playing on the football pitch with his friends.

“That sense of normality, of the family surviving in one of the most difficult times they have ever been through, was important. The school offers them great infrastructure and a great support network and enables the children to have a normal childhood – a reserved, happy, albeit privileged childhood.”
