Heavies arrested after attempts to break into gun shops in Rockledge during the Hurrican Milton

Brevard County • Rockledge, Florida – The Rockledge Police announced that two suspects were arrested after they were caught on surveillance material to an arms store in Rockledge during the Hurrikan Milton last year.

On October 10, 2024, a red Nissan Sentra was recorded on surveillance material at around 4:49 a.m., which is located in the parking lot of Red Dot Shooting, Inc. in 375 Richard Road in Rockledge.

The police say that three people have left the vehicle and tried to get started with the business.

The Rock Ledge police announced that two suspects were arrested after they brought in a burglary of a weapon business in Rock Ledge during the Hurrikan Milton last year.

During the investigation, the authorities found that the same suspects had tried a similar slump in Sicario’s Gun Shop in Melbourne just 30 minutes before the Rock Ledge incident in Melbourne.

In cooperation with the police authority in Melbourne, the Rock Ledge Police Department carried out a thorough examination of four months. Her efforts led to the identification of all three suspects and to issue arrest warrants. Between February 20 and February 25, 2025, all three people were taken into custody.

Charges were submitted in both cities, with three suspects being charged with the incident in Melbourne, and two suspects who were charged with the rock spread attempt.

The authorities also published monitoring images of the vehicle and the suspect as well as a frame that will show Williams who fires the rifle.

The chief of police from Rockledge emphasized that criminal acts like these are not tolerated in the city.

“I would like to make it clear that this type of behavior in the city of Rockledge is unacceptable,” said Christopher Crawford, police chief. “Anyone who commits criminal or violent acts is identified accordingly, arrested and accused.”

He also praised the Rockledge and Melbourne investigation teams for their hard -working work and explained that their cooperation, their teamwork and their persistence have led to successful arrests.

With the suspects that have now been taken into custody, the local authorities confirm their commitment to the security of the community.
