Helldivers 2’s LAS-16 crescent seems to be getting bigger with every patch

However, some players believe that the developers are just ripping them off, especially when it comes to a fan-favorite weapon.

Is the LAS-16 sickle getting bigger?

The LAS-16 Sickle is one of the best assault rifles in the game and is great against bugs and bots. It sprays ammo quickly and densely and has a cool down system so you don’t have to worry about reloading if you’re careful. However, Reddit fans like Paxelic and Impossible-Pie2924 have noticed something strange in the last few weeks – the crescent seems to be getting bigger with every update.

Now it gets confusing. The rifle has definitely gotten bigger since it came out with the Cutting Edge Warbond. However, everyone isn’t sure if this was just a routine visual update or if the developers are trying to figure out if anyone notices it. Arrowhead hasn’t officially said anything about it, but if you know the developers, they might be laughing about it behind the scenes.

However, the weapon’s increasing size didn’t seem to have had any effect on her. Aside from being part of Arrowhead’s 60-day update plan to improve the game overall, it doesn’t seem to be getting more powerful with each growth spurt. The least they could do was improve the cooldown.

Speaking of Arrowhead’s humor, there were a number of Helldivers 2 updates available on SteamDB with the suspicious name “gameplay_illuminates.” While it seemed like the game would finally reveal the long-awaited enemy faction the Illuminati, fans were unsure and thought the developers might just be trolling as usual. For all we know, it could be an update to the lighting system.
