Helmut Marko shows how long Yuki Tsunoda Red Bull has to impress

The Red Bull Advisor Helmut Marko has announced that Yuki Tsunoda will receive Formula 1 the rest of the 2025 season to prove that he deserves the seat.

At the expense of Liam Lawson, Tsunoda was brought to the parent team of the parent team to the Red Bull team from case to needle when Red Bull decided to exchange two races in the campaign.

Lawson had been selected via Tsunoda when Sergio Perez was reported, but he fought with a moody RB21 car and returned successive weekends.

Red Bull triggered this to degrade him to racing bulls and give Tsunoda a long -awaited chance that has emerged in the opening rounds with the satellite side.

In contrast to Lawson, Marko announced that Tsunoda will be provided enough time to show that he should be after Max Verstappen’s teammates over the current season.

When asked whether Tsunoda, which does not deliver standard to Red Bulls, could be replaced, Marko told Formel1.de: “Yuki tsunoda will end the season.”

Why Red Bull, reverse tsunoda, reverse

Red Bull decided to overlook Tsunoda when the journey was released three months ago because he had the intellectual resistance to cope with the step up.

However, Marko admitted that the Japanese driver’s strong start to the campaign with Racing Bulls to the two top 10 starts changed Red Bull’s perception.

“Yuki tsunoda is a quick driver, we know that, but he has his ups and downs,” said Marko. “So we thought Lawson was the better and stronger candidate.

“But Yuki has undergone a transformation. He changed his management, and in this situation it was simply the best option.”

He added: “For example, Yuki had ups and downs – I remember the two accidents in Mexico. He was just not as stable as now.

“Yuki is in his fifth year. And experience under such difficult conditions is an enormous factor.

“Yuki has repeatedly emphasized that he is actually the right man for Red Bull Racing.”

Red Bulls Timing explained

The Switch has refused Lawson the chance to save his Red Bull prospects on routes, where he already has experience, which was not the case in the first two races.

Marko has proposed that the Rookie Isack Hadjar could not be used as an excuse last weekend, as he quoted.

“Even in Suzuka, although Lawson knows the route, Hadjar did not know China and was immediately up to date, almost as quickly as Yuki – at least with qualifying.

“So it was a downward spiral that we had to break to give Lawson a future in his career.”

Tsunoda’s secret Red Bull Simulator is running

Marko remembered how Red Bull’s decision was recorded when Tsunoda impressed the team in the “two or three simulator meetings” that he had carried out at the beginning of this week.

“We had to act quickly,” said the Austrian. “And everything was positive.

“The technical feedback that was often accused of having not understood the technical side or could not set up a car – that also turned out to be wrong.”
