Here’s how to help furry friends at the Arizona Humane Society this holiday season

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Want to do something good and help a furry friend this holiday season?

You can be a hero by adopting a pet at the Arizona Humane Society and giving them extra love and care outside of the kennel.

The Arizona Humane Society covers all care and medical costs for those who bring a furry friend home for the holidays. The first step is to fill out an application. The Humane Society will then contact you to find the right pet for your home.

If you can’t bring a pet home for the holidays, why not bring them the “Howl-Iday” spirit? The Humane Society is offering limited winter workshops where children ages 5 to 12 can read their favorite Christmas stories to the animals.

The workshop will be held December 1st from 9 to 11 a.m. and costs $30 for one child and one adult. To find out more, click here.
