‘He’s my favorite young cricketer in the world’: Mark Nicholas heaps praise on the Indian cricketer

India is blessed with several young cricketers who are making a name for themselves in international cricket. Yashasvi Jaiswal was the most impressive of the bunch and after a few misses, he recorded back-to-back fifties in the fourth Test of the five-match series. Mark Nicholas, who played domestic cricket in England, is a fan of the left-handed batsman.

Jaiswal started the series with a great score of 161 runs in the second innings of the series opener but then failed to get going in Adelaide and Brisbane. The critics criticized him for not spending time in the middle and throwing away his wicket by striking from the first ball of his innings.

He made some adjustments to his style and scored two scores over 80 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Yashasvi was the best batsman in the Indian national cricket team.

“Yashasvi Jaiswal is my favorite young cricketer. The situation and what happened to him during the previous delivery don’t bother him. He goes for his shots and is technically sound. “You will see a lot more from him in the future,” he said on Star Sports.

Ravi Shastri believes that the tour of Australia will help Jaiswal become a better player as it is not easy to score runs in this part of the world.
