Hits and Miss for March 21st

Welcome back to our weekly WWE Smackdown hits and Misse series, in which we summarize all good and bad ones from the show.

Hit – he hears voices in his head

In 2009 Orton would not have thought that he would hear the WWE universe that sings his title song. Speaking of 2009 Orton, we could see that the notorious St. Orton Schwor swore that he would take Kos head off his shoulders because the voices want him to make Owens punt. This was a solid promo between the two men to start WWE Smackdown.

Miss – Mcintyre is again high on the WWE Smackdown

Nothing that Drew Mcintyre and Damian Priest should take away are both incredible actors. Nevertheless, this writer is not a fan of this feud that enters into Wrestlemania 41. A title program would have been much more interesting. WWE had La Knight against Drew Mcintyre on a silver plate, but it seems that she didn’t want Mcintyre in the cover for this year’s wrestlemania. Drew’s promo before Rollins went to the ring was fantastic.

Hit – Charlotte Flair has Tiffany Stratton during the interview with a shared screen

Marks do not enjoy the segment on the Internet, it seems. Tiffany looked a bit nervous, but that contributes to the plot because she is the outsider. Charlotte was heads and shoulders about Tiffany in the promo. She really looked like a veteran with her commanding presence. This writer wanted Tiffy to keep at Wrestlemania, but when I had this interview with Split-screen interviews, I seconded the result.

Miss – Piper Niven against Zelina Vega on WWE Smackdown

Why can’t you just book Piper Niven to Squash Zelina Vega? Piper clearly has the strength and size advantage. Zelina may be the baby face, but at least keeps a certain appearance of realism. Piper crushes from 10 in the ring nine times. With Alba Fyre as the third member, WWE has the opportunity to set up a solo run for Piper.

Hit – Jade Cargill against Liv Morgan

We have Liv-A-Lisa ahead of GTA VI. Wild! WWE camera boys had a great recording Liv to run on Jade in the sound of the bell. Liv carried Jade to a solid match. Naomi’s interference had to happen, but this was not the time to give Jade a Pinfall loss. A DQ end would have been better. Let’s see if Nick Aldis on WWE Smackdown Jade Cargill against Naomi for Wrestlemania 41 41 next week.

Miss – Braun Strowman against Jacob Fatu on WWE Smackdown

The controversial end ruined this match for me. WWE clearly builds Fatu against Solo for Wrestlemania, but they could have won Fatu to build the US title game with La Knight on Smackdown next week. Ideally, Tama and Solo would have interfered the seeds for Fatu against Solo for Wrestlemania next week.

Hit – Triple Threat Preview ft. CM Punk, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns

A heated verbal exchange before things went south for these three men. Some observers called Punk vs. Rollins against Reigns a throw -away game because of their obvious lack of history. I think he gets minus five stars for this garbage of one setting. The sign was Punk’s idea with Chris Hero as a muscle of the group. I am glad that Roman took over this part and hit the park directly, but why did everyone show themselves alternately on the Wrestlemania sign?!
