Hoda Kotb hangs up Christmas stockings and includes one for ex Joel Schiffman

Hoda Kotb is making some memories with her entire family this Christmas.

On Sunday, December 22nd, it will take place Today The 60-year-old host shared a series of photos on her Instagram as she prepared for the holidays. In one photo, Kotb showed off her festive living room, which included stockings for everyone in her family – including her ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman, with whom she shares daughters Hope, 5, and Haley, 7.

On her mantel, Kotb hung stockings marked “Mom” and “Dad” for her and Schiffman, as well as stockings for Hope and Haley, one for her mother, whom her daughters call Tata, and one for her sister Hala.

The proud mom also added a photo of her daughter Haley making snow angels and a sweet family photo outside her house playing in the snow.

“Everything happens! Happy Everything!!🥰,” she captioned her post.

Kotb appeared last week Late Night with Seth Meyers and shared that her daughters Hope and Haley really want a special gift for Christmas this year.

“You want makeup, but what’s it about?” Kotb asked on the show. “That’s not happening. What are we talking about? All these little kids, like little kids, 7, 8, 9, they’re into skin care and stuff. But we don’t have that at my house. That’s a big no.”

However, her girls aren’t just asking for makeup this year. “They asked Santa for magic kits. They like magic kits,” she said. “They like American Girl dolls… They’re into anything with bubbles.”

This is the first year Kotb and her girls have spent Christmas in the suburbs after the family of three moved from New York City earlier this year.

Shortly after the big move, Kotb announced that she had purchased a minivan for her family.

“Guys, I’m getting a minivan! A Toyota Sienna!” She cheered on the November 14 episode Today with Hoda & Jenna. “I’m so excited. I’ve wanted a Toyota Sienna for a long time.”

Kotb then hilariously mimicked the movement of her new car’s automatic sliding doors, saying, “When you press the buttons, it clicks!” And the doors look great.”

“And let me explain: Me and a minivan are like a dream,” she continued. “I wanted it and didn’t have it. I’m also a carpool mom sometimes. I can only take three children with me because there is no other room. No longer! I can barely wait for it.”
