Hololive’s Sakamata Chloe will stop streaming in 2025

Cover announced that Sakamata Chloe will end its streaming operations as Hololive talent, but will remain a subsidiary of the company. This comes into effect on January 26, 2025.

After January 26, 2025, Sakamata Chloe will no longer stream on YouTube, post on social media, participate in live events, or release new merchandise. However, that doesn’t mean she’ll graduate. According to a note published by Cover, a deal means a talent leaves the company and no longer puts out content. However, since this is sad for everyone involved (including fans), Cover has implemented the “closure of streaming activities,” which is what Chloe decided to do. As with graduation, the talent will cease all streaming activity, but there is a chance they could return as a special guest in future projects.

At the time of writing, Sakamata Chloe has not posted anything about her departure on her Twitter account. Kazama Iroha, another Hololive talent who debuted in the same generation, addressed Chloe’s departure of her own accord, acknowledging everyone’s shock and sadness, including her own. However, she stated that she would still hold her third anniversary stream.

Sakamata Chloe is part of the sixth generation of Hololive, debuting in 2021 alongside talents such as La+ Darkness and Hakui Koyori. In the HoloX story, she is the secret society’s cleaning lady and intern. She currently has over 1.32 million subscribers on YouTube. Her latest video is the music video for her single “Moudoku”.

Sakamata Chloe will complete her channel activities on January 26, 2025, which is also the last day she will send out her fan letters. Memberships and members-only content are available until April 30, 2025.
