Earlier this year, Disney legend Richard M. Sherman passed away on May 25, 2024 at the age of 95. In honor of Richard Sherman and the 60th anniversary of the song “It’s a small world,” Disney released a new short film. It’s a beautiful film with so much love. You MUST check it out.

So what makes it so special? Disney notes: “As his final contribution to Disney and to further influence the song’s message, Richard wrote a third, final verse for “It’s a small world.” It is the ACTUAL final verse. Yes, we told you it was a tear-jerking short film.
