How big is Travis Kelce? Product Dimensions, weight, 40 time and more about chiefs

Travis Kelce is approaching the end of his Hall-of-fame career, but in the playoffs he still seems to be almost unstoppable while the chiefs are striving for another championship.

Kelce no longer has the speed as before, but the size and strength that has been making it so effective for more than a decade have not disappeared. The defenders of the Texans were difficult to bring him down in the Kansas City division round, and he could cause further problems in the AFC championship game on Sunday.

Here is a look at Kelce’s size and how it uses it to his advantage.

Travis Kelce Size

Kelce is listed by the chiefs as 6-foot 5. Most Tight Ends are large when you consider what the position requires, but it is larger than most outstanding Tight Ends. Kelce was the largest of the five players in this position, which achieved at least 800 yards in 2024.

Similar to the 1.90 meter tall Rob Gronkowski managed to remain effective, even if it looked as if it had lost a step, Kelce is still so difficult to fall because it is simply larger than the player that cover it.

Weight of Travis Kelce

Kelce is given by the chiefs with 250 pounds. The 35-year-old may not have the same “papa body” as his brother Jason, but he has enough size and strength to still be a power in the passing game.

Travis Kelce 40 times

Kelce ran the 40-yard run in 4.61 seconds at the 2013 NFL Combine and, despite its size, was part of the Tight-End group.

That was, however, in 2013. In 2025, Kelce doesn’t seem to be as fast as it used to be, and this is no reason to be a surprise for a player in his mid -30s. Nevertheless, the fact that Kelce has remained remarkably healthy throughout his career has made it possible for him to keep the rest of his body in an impressive form and to remain productive.

How old is Travis Kelce?

Kelce turned 35 in October and is the second oldest active Tight End behind the timeless Marcedes Lewis.

Kelce was the 38th oldest player who performed in an NFL game in 2024, and the 24th oldest player, without specialists (kicker, spuns and long snapers).

As for resignation, Kelce admitted during the season that he would think about it, but he has no intention of resigning. “I will rate it again as I always do, and I will probably tell myself how much I love this thing and I’ll be back next year,” said Kelce and added that he will probably play as long as he is. “Play good football” and enjoy it.

If his great performance in the victory of the chiefs in the division round against the Texans is an indication of this, Kelce still enjoys the sport he dominates.
