How does the WNBA approach TCU star Sedona Prince become?

Sedona Prince has undertaken a winding journey towards the 2025 WNBA design, where she is probably finally joined by the league after a seven-year-old college-odyssey.

Prince, a 24-year, 6-foot 7 center on the TCU, enjoys the most successful season of her career, which includes three universities, several injuries and are famous to underline the differences between the NCAA tournaments for men and women. TCU trainer Mark Campbell said the program followed by the university directive. In August, Prince uploaded a video to her Tikok account, in which they refused to accuse and said: “I have never misused someone in my life” after an ex-girlfriend posted videos in which Prince was accused of abuse.

The WNBA managers said they were allegations, but many said they were confident that they would be designed in the first round.

“You have to take it into account. It is unfortunate that this was a flaw in which she was a great season for her,” said a general manager. Six WNBA general managers discussed Prince and received anonymity to speak openly about them as a prospects for the draft.

The WNBA and WNBPA have not exposed to any players because they created a common violence policy for domestic and intimate partners for violence in 2020 in the 2020 collective agreement. An online petition in which Prince was asked by the TCU was published in August and has more than 200,000 signatures.

The WNBA rules forbid General Manager to speak to prospects before completing their college season, and some said that the quick turnaround between the end of the NCAA tournament and the draft, which could be done eight days after the national championship, which could prevent the team from interviewing Prince about the allegations. In the first two rounds of the tournament, Prince has not addressed any allegations in news conferences.

Several managers expressed concerns about alleged questions outside of the square, but nobody said that they would prevent Prince from being designed.

“She is a very talented player who, in my opinion, would be good in our league,” said a general manager. “And it sounds like she could get the chance to prove it.”

Prince’s initial fame was made in College Athletics after turning a viral social media video in 2021, which distinguished the differences between the NCAA tournaments of men and women. The video triggered a widespread change in sport. Prince was also one of the leading plaintiffs in the house against NCAA lawsuit that led to the unification of the NCAA of $ 2.8 billion.
