How Kylie Kelce Got ‘Locked Up’ During Her Appearance on Jason Kelce’s Late Night Show: ‘I Hesitantly Said Yes’

Kylie Kelce didn’t expect to appear alongside her husband, Jason Kelceon his very own late night talk show.

Kylie, 32, responded to fan comments on her debut They call it Late Night with Jason Kelce on the Thursday, Jan. 9, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, which stated, “Kylie always looks like she has no idea how she got involved in the next thing,” such as: ” Damn, I don’t have that. ‘I want to do that.'” The comment prompted Kylie to start a new segment on her podcast called “Places Where Kylie Doesn’t Have a Business.”

“Getting into it is the perfect expression of me taking on the role of announcer,” she joked. “My husband asked me to join in and being the supportive wife I am, I hesitantly said yes.”

She further noted that she “didn’t know” there would be a “Kylie’s Korner” poster hanging on her commentary box. “I really appreciate that because you know how much I love hiding in a corner,” she joked. “Although you can’t really hide it if you have spotlights and a camera. So I may need to discuss this with someone.”

They call it late night premiered Saturday, January 3 on ESPN. During the episode, Kylie hilariously read a disclaimer to young viewers, warning them: “This evening’s program is intended for an adult audience.” Young viewers, such as your children, may hear language that is inappropriate for them .”

Kylie and Jason, 37, married in 2018 and share daughters Wyatt, 5, Ellie, 3, and Bennett, 22 months, and are currently expecting their fourth baby.

On Thursday’s podcast, another fan asked in a comment if Kylie was nervous about making her late night debut, to which she replied that she wasn’t. “I think it’s (similar) to our wedding day when I was nervous walking down the aisle because all eyes were on me, and then when I saw Jason I was like, ‘Oh, that’s me.’ Fine. I can walk down the aisle. “I’m just going to focus on him,” she explained.

Kylie said she had a similar feeling watching her husband host the show. “He’s the center of attention and all that and he ruins everything, I didn’t have to get nervous,” she said. “Luckily I only had very few lines. I love this for myself. And I also did PA for men’s lacrosse games in college, so I had a little bit of experience.”

While Kylie is busy with her podcast and her They call it late night Gig, she recently clapped back at online trolls who said they were “tired” of her projects. “I had been talking to my producers a while back, like, ‘Are we going to do a segment on algorithms and explain to people that if you get into the content and write my name and names, you’re just going to go?’ “Do you want to keep seeing me on your timeline?'” she joked on the Jan. 2 episode of “Not Gonna Lie.”

Kylie also responded to another comment that asked, “Who the hell is Kylie Kelce?” She replied, “I can’t get over the fact that (someone) actually typed this into Twitter when you could have typed this into Google can.” Also, you entered my name, so do you know what you get?
