How to find the papers for Shcherba in STALKERS 2

The mission “In Search of Past Glory” in STALKERS 2 is pretty simple, but also has the secondary goal of finding papers related to the controller project for graduate student Shcherba. If you manage to find them, you’ll need a useful reward that makes finding artifacts easier than ever.

Continue with the mission “In Search of Past Glory” and work your way through the facility until you reach the lower level for the “Explore the Laboratory” objective. You’ll be stuck in a darkened room; Look around for an electrical box bathed in red light.

Go to the switch box and get ready to activate it. Three Snorks will come out the door behind you, so have a shotgun ready to take them out. Pull the switch and turn around; Shortly afterwards a metal door opens and you have to take care of the three snorkels.

Go through the metal door and enter the first room on the left. You can find the controller documents that Shcherba wants on a shelf in this room.

Finish exploring the facility, grab the other items you need, and then get ready to fight your way out. As you exit the facility, you will have to deal with about a dozen Monolithians.
