How to get Steel Ingots in Enshrouded

Steel bars are one of them Wrapped up the latest crafting materials you’ll need if you want to create recipes for later game. Unfortunately for any impatient crafters out there, there are quite a few steps involved in getting these shiny metal bricks together – and you’ll need to track down some bellows first.

You’ve probably already encountered steel ingots in the overworld, either by destroying crates or by searching for them in the houses and looting camps scattered around the Albaneve Peaks. However, acquisition through looting is a slow process. So if you want to make recipes with these ingredients more often, you will have to make them yourself.

You can Craft Steel Ingots in a Blast Furnace In Wrapped up. But in order to get one of these, you must first complete a blacksmith quest where you are tasked with looting the bellows from a scavenger boss. With the bellows locked, you’ll need to build a blast furnace out of a bunch of materials and then get all the necessary ingredients for your steel ingots. Didn’t we tell you it would take a few steps?

Here’s how to make steel ingots Wrapped up.

Position of the bellows

The bellows is in the Obsidia Forgenorth of the Wildwater Basin in the Albaneve Summits. Go to the top of the forge to the building with double wooden doors. In this building you will find a Scavenger – a very large female figure wearing winter clothing and a bulky metal helmet. Be careful to avoid her fiery whip. When she hits you with it, it causes a burn effect that deals a lot of damage over time. Luckily, I have a bow build, which means I can camp on a nearby roof and bombard them with arrows from above, avoiding the whip’s reach and bringing them down with ease.

The Scav Queen drops the bellows. Loot her body to obtain the item, then return home to speak to the blacksmith and move on to the next stage of the quest: crafting the furnace.

Tip: Build a Flame Altar to quickly return to this location

You will not find any fast travel points around the Forge of Obsidia. Instead, I recommend crafting a Flame Altar and placing it just outside of this scavenger camp so that you can quickly return to the area in case you need to craft more heals or want to return to this building later for its abundant iron ore deposits.

How to make the blast furnace

Unfortunately, the bellows aren’t the only ingredient needed to build the furnace, and you’ll find that out every time you talk to the blacksmith. In addition to the bellows, you will need the following resources:

Since you’re this far into the game, you probably already have your own favorite clay and sand farming spots. However, iron ore can be difficult to find, but fortunately there are huge deposits of it in the Obsidia Forge, especially in the small room behind the huge forge chamber where you find the Scavenger.

Steel Ingot Recipe

The blast furnace will look very similar to the smelter; The two main differences between the machines are that the former takes up more space and that they can also create steel ingots in addition to items the smelter can craft, such as iron or copper ingots. To use the oven, simply collect your ingredients, throw them into the machine and wait a few minutes before you have shiny new metal bricks.

Steel Bars take approximately 14 minutes to fully melt, and the recipe makes exactly 20 individual bars. Once this is done, you can plug them in from the oven’s inventory. When you first get your hands on this item, you will automatically unlock a variety of recipes that the artisans at your home base can prepare for you.
