Fortnite has a ton of skins, and they don’t just feature video game characters or real-life celebrities. Some of these cosmetics are tied to specific consoles, which in a way makes them special and rarer since not everyone has access to them.

One example is the extremely rare Wildcat skin, which is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch. Now PS5 is getting a similar treatment with a brand new Cobalt Snowfoot skin.

How to get the Cobalt Star pack in Fortnite

The Cobalt Snowfoot skin is part of the Cobalt Star PS5 bundle and is available in physical or digital editions. So if you want to get it, you must purchase the “PlayStation 5 Console – Cobalt Star Bundle” and have both your PlayStation Network and Epic accounts connected.

How to redeem the Cobalt Star cosmetic pack

Unlike most in-game skins that appear in your locker after purchasing them in the shop or unlocking them in the past, you need to follow a few steps to get the Cobalt Snowfoot and other cosmetic skins from this pack receive .

If you haven’t already done so, you’ll want to connect your Epic Games account to the PlayStation Network. To do this, log in to your Epic Games account and go to Apps and Accounts tab.. Select here PlayStation and follow the rest of the instructions.

Once that’s all set up, grab the Fortnite booklet that came with the console, scratch off the black panel to reveal your code, and follow the steps below to redeem it.

1. Go to the PlayStation Store and select the three-dot icon in the top right corner.
2. Select from the drop down menu Redeem code.
3. Enter your 12-digit code and dial Erase.
4. The cosmetics should now be added to your account.

While the Cobalt Star bundle is currently only available with the purchase of a PS5, Epic has explained in a blog post that this is not exclusive. This means that all cosmetics included in this pack, including the Cobalt Snowfoot skin, may be available in the Item Shop at a later date. Considering Fortnite is moving away from exclusivity, this is a decent move from them.
