MATCHUP

The Broncos host the Cleveland Browns for a primetime “Monday Night Football” game in Week 13. Denver will look to extend its two-game winning streak before the team’s bye in Week 14.

The Broncos will look for another strong offensive performance on Monday after a strong second-half showing in Week 12. Rookie quarterback Bo Nixwho was named NFL Rookie of the Week for the third straight year, will look to continue his impressive play on Monday. In Week 12, Nix completed 25 of 42 passes for 273 yards, two touchdowns and a passer rating of 94.6 while facing wide receiver Courtland Sutton for both scores. Sutton now leads the NFL with 467 receiving yards since Week 8 and could be looking for another strong performance on Sunday as he looks to extend his five-game streak of over 70 receiving yards. Nix could also go for a rookie wide receiver Devaughn Velewho posted a career-high 80 receiving yards against the Raiders.

Denver’s defense – which leads the league in sacks (44) and yards allowed per game (4.7) – will look to continue its strong play in a matchup with the Browns’ offense, which leads the league in yards allowed Ranked 32nd per game (4.5) Entering Week 13, 47 sacks allowed. Outside linebacker Nik Bonitto recorded his 10th sack of the season in Week 12, becoming the first Broncos player since 2018 to reach double figures. Bonitto could be looking for another strong performance on Sunday as he looks to pressure quarterback Jameis Winston, who has averaged 295.8 yards per game since being named Cleveland’s starter – which is second in the league since Week 8 takes. Security Brandon Joneswho recorded his second interception of the season in Week 12, could also be aiming to make game-changing plays in the prime-time matchup.

INJURY UPDATE

Denver ruled out cornerback Riley Moss (knee) while wide receiver Josh Reynolds (hand) was listed as questionable. Defensive players Zach Allen (ankle) and John Franklin-Myers (shoulder), safeties Brandon Jones (abdomen) and PJ Locke (thumb), and quarterback Bo Nix (back) were not assigned game statuses, suggesting they were not eligible for the Matchup available.

For Cleveland, cornerback Myles Harden (shin), defensive tackle Sam Kamara (head), wide receiver Cedric Tillman (concussion), safety Juan Thornhill (calf) and tackle Jedrick Wills (knee) were out.
