Oregon and USC have been polar opposites so far in the season. CBS Sports’ Cameron Salerno predicted both teams would finish in the middle of the pack in their first season in the Big Ten.

Oregon doesn’t have a clear best player on the team, but they have received big contributions from various players. The Ducks have six players averaging nine or more points per game in Nate Bittle, TJ Bamba, Brandon Angel, Keyshawn Barthelemy, Jackson Shelstad and Adrian Tracey.

All of these players had their moments in the Players Era Festival and helped Oregon beat each team in its own way.

The USC Trojans are still trying to find their footing. USC is overwhelmed with transfers and has not yet established itself on offense. USC is coming off back-to-back losses to Saint Mary’s and New Mexico. USC was only able to score 36 points in a 71-36 loss to Saint Mary’s.

The Oregon Ducks are finding their breakthrough at the start of the regular season. This is something Oregon fans have not been used to in recent seasons. Will Oregon be able to maintain its momentum after a 3-0 road loss last week in Las Vegas?

USC hasn’t found its identity yet this season, playing against a confident Oregon team. A late night tip on a Wednesday won’t attract a crowd, so the noise shouldn’t affect the street too much. Oregon has more depth and scoring depth that allows USC to compete at this point in the season.
