The Los Angeles Rams travel to Louisiana on Sunday to take on the New Orleans Saints in a playoff-clinching matchup.

Despite being just 5-6 this season, Los Angeles still has hope of making the playoffs as the team is just one game behind the Seattle Seahawks, who are 6-5 so far this year. That’s why Sunday’s game against a struggling 4-7 Saints team is crucial for the Rams.

However, New Orleans enters Sunday’s game in better shape than Los Angeles, as the Saints have won their last two games, 20-17 against the Atlanta Falcons on November 10th and 35-14 against the Cleveland on November 17th Brown’s.

Quarterback Derek Carr led New Orleans, coming off a bye week, against Cleveland by completing 21 of 27 passes for 248 yards and two touchdowns. All-rounder Taysom Hill also had a great performance in this game: He ran the ball seven times for 138 yards and three touchdowns.

Los Angeles, meanwhile, is coming off a tough loss, losing 37-20 to the Philadelphia Eagles last week. The Rams, led by quarterback Matthew Stafford in the loss, threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. Los Angeles has now lost two of its last three games, putting its playoff hopes on the brink if they can’t get past the now-hot Saints.
