HPD arrests man who supposedly tried to murder a woman

Honolulu (Khon2) – The Honolulu police authority spent the day finding an attempt to try out on the morning of March 24th in the Pali Lookout area to fatally wounded his wife.

Gerhardt Konig, a 46-year-old man from Maui, was with his wife on Oahu when he supposedly tried to deport her from a hiking trail, and supposedly hit his wife in his head with a rock.

“We want to have every instrument available to follow it.”

The woman was taken to the hospital in a critical condition.

The suspect is employed by an independent company, but has commissioned Maui Health to provide services. When Maui Health was asked for a comment, he said that Konig was suspended until the examination.

“Maui Health is committed to patient safety and the maintenance of the highest care standards,” said Maui Health in a statement. “We were made aware of the allegations against Gerhardt Konig, Md. Dr. Konig was exposed to the medical staff based on the investigation.”

“Dr. Konig is busy with an independent unit that is contractual with the provision of medical services in various medical institutions in Maui, including Maui Memorial Medical Center,” Maui Health continued. “Maui Health takes this concerns and the security of his patients very seriously and will, if necessary, work with the authorities.”

At around 6.45 p.m., Konig was arrested near the Pali Highway after a brief persecution of the Pali Highway.

According to the HPD, the fees are pending.
