Idaho Steelhead | TOMAS SHOLL IS WARRIOR HOCKEY ECHL GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

SHREWSBURY, N.J. – The ECHL (@ECHL) announced today that Idaho is goalkeeper Tomas Sholl was named Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Nov. 25-Dec. 1. It is the eighth time in his career that he has received this weekly award, the second-most in league history.

ShouldThe 30-year-old went 2-0-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and .941 save percentage in two games against Tahoe last week.

He stopped 26 shots in Friday’s 6-2 win and made 38 saves in Saturday’s 5-2 win.

The Hermosa Beach, Calif. native has a 3-0-0 record with a 1.67 goals against average and a .947 save percentage in three appearances this season, all against Tahoe.

He has played 102 career ECHL games with Idaho and Adirondack, compiling an overall record of 71-20-9 with 12 shutouts, 2.06 goals against average and a .931 save percentage.

With the Steelheads, he played 94 games with a record of 66-20-5-2, a franchise record 12 shutouts and a 1.83 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage. He was named ECHL Goaltender of the Year for the 2019–20 season.

Sholl is three wins away from becoming the winningest goaltender in Idaho’s ECHL era and 16 wins away from the WCHL/ECHL record.
