No information was given on what customers should do with the recalled product. Class II recalls apply “a situation in which the use or exposure to a violation product can cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or in which the likelihood of serious adverse health consequences is removed”.

Some diseases and medication can prevent people from consuming caffeine.

“If you have health problems or take medication, make additional attention to how much caffeine you have. Caffeine can make diseases such as heart problems, diabetes, osteoporosis and others worse,” said Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin.

Nevertheless, the FDA also warns that “decaffeinated coffees and teas have less caffeine than their regular colleagues, but still a little caffeine”.

“For example, Decaf coffee usually has 2 to 15 milligrams in an 8-off cup. If you react strongly to caffeine in a negative way, you may want to avoid these drinks as a whole,” said the agency on your website.
