An earthquake of 6.6 size, according to local meteorology, climatology and geophysical Agency (BMKG), hit Indonesia on April 22nd. None of the earthquakes around the islands have caused victims or damage, and there were no reports on aftershocks or tsunamis.

Indonesia experiences thousands of earthquakes every year, especially because of its location on the Pacific fire ring.
