IPL 2025 Opening ceremony: Complete list of actors in the curtain organizer

The Indian Premier League (IPL) will go a new adventure from March 22 when the 18th edition of the T20 League on Kolkata begins. The star line-up for the curtain process has already been completed. Bollywood Diva Disha Patani entertained the fans before the opening game between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The singer Shreya Ghosal is expected to appear at the event location, with the ICC chairman Jay Shah being present.

But that’s not all. In contrast to the previous seasons, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) plans to organize opening ceremonies in all 13 locations in which IPL games take place.

In a report, various celebrities are completed by the board for opening ceremony at the event locations.

People like Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan, Katrina Kaif, Triptii Dimri, Ananya Panday, Madhuri Dixit, Janhvi Kapoor etc. will play a role in the course of the campaign that will play a role at some point.

“The idea is to have a varied pool of Bollywood artists for all programs, and with a limited period of time between the Innings, two to three artists could be accommodated for these events,” was quoted by a source by Sportstar.

“Since this is done in such a scale for the first time, there are also some logistical problems. The BCCI and state associations work together to ensure that the programs are carried out smoothly without hindering the agreement,” added the report.

Apart from the traditional event locations for the 10 IPL franchise companies, games are also played in second houses of some teams. Guwahati, Visakhapatnam, Dharamshala and Mullanpur organize games for Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings during the season.
