It was the night before Christmas

It was the night before Christmas when everything went through The Rock

Not a single player moved, they had simply beaten the Rangers many times;

The stockings were carefully hung on the penalty box,

Hoping the NJ Devils would be there soon;

Tommy Fitzgerald sat comfortably at her desk;

While visions of acquisitions with trade deadlines danced in her head;

And Mama Hughes is in training with Jack and brother Luke,

Your success is long-term, it’s no coincidence,

When we were out on the ice there was this noise,

Fans jumped out of their beds to see what was going on.

Away to the glass compartments flew like lightning,

Then they started banging, wanting a crash.

You see, Paul Cotter fought and punched a Rangers in the face.

As they pushed her further down the Metropolitan race.

As what appeared in my questioning eyes,

Another L for New York, it must feel familiar this year.

The Devils made up for a win last season,

By setting their hopes six feet deep.

But it’s not just about rivalry games,

The Devils come first, no matter how much talk there is.

“Now, Bratter! Now, Dawson! Now Stephen And Timo!

To, Pesce! To, Lazar! To, Jonas And Nico!

To the top of the circle! to the right into the fold,

This offense is booming, thanks to trades that were a fleece.

Through the chimney came the NJ devil with a leap,

He is the best mascot in sports ever.

He was dressed entirely in his jersey, from head to toe,

And his clothes were all tarnished, but you know how it goes;

NJ Devil didn’t have any toys because there were Flyers fans in the crowd,

Word on the street is that Gritty stole her and his respect is now withdrawn.

But there’s no need to worry because NJ Devil would return,

Unlike where he comes from, this Christmas wouldn’t burn!

You see, the Devils have so much to love this season,

Winning itself is not the only reason.

Hischier is the captain and he is back to his Selke self.

He could have competition from the Elf on the Shelf.

He also presents his defense to Hughes,

Since both brothers blocked shots and lose a board fight, they don’t lose it.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah to all New Jersey Devils fans at Pucks and Pitchforks!

The night is coming soon and the devils are seizing –

The road trip is just around the corner, but first a quick snack.

When Prudential Center added pork buns, or maybe it’s Taylor Ham,

Either way, we’re glad they avoided the spam.

We eat our dinner and listen to the Let’s Go Devils Podcast.

As we celebrate the holidays and remember Christmases past.

We thank you, fans, and these articles are intended to light,

“Merry Christmas to everyone and good night to everyone!”
