“It won’t be punisher lite,” says Jon Bernthal about ‘Daredevil’ spin-off

Daredevil’s premiere: Born Again was well received by fans and (mostly) critics, and that is before the return of Jon Bernthals Punisher, which will be an integral part of this season.

In fact, Frank Castle is born from his Netflix days again and was an important part of the campaign for the series, his appearance was far from it. In the pilot, we have already received a reference to his return with corrupt police officers who assume his culpable symbol in such a way that he undoubtedly does not appreciate. This refers to a real practice that Jon Bernthal has already spoken:

As for Daredevil’s future, we already know where this is going. Bernthal writes his own “special” for the Punisher, which is not broadcast in the cinemas, but will be a kind of mini-movie event for Disney Plus. Bernthal spoke about Frank and his future during his promotion of accountant 2, where he works with Ben Affleck:

“I am very interested in Frank, I am really grateful that I will be given the opportunity to tell the story that the fans deserve. Some fans were skeptical when it was promised that Daredevil: Born would be “dark” and violent again when the character returned, as this had been promised in the past with series such as Moon Knight and Echo that did not really deliver. But so far Daredevil seems to do justice to his word, and I think Disney is less afraid of R/MA assessment MCU content these days, perhaps partly from Deadpool and Wolverine, which earn over a billion dollars.

Frank’s return is a signal that other Netflix heroes may return to the universe. It is a kind of open secret that Jessica Jones will be here at some point, although this is just a camo or a reprisal of her own series, remains unclear.
