It’s here! The giant, new MSC Cruises ship that takes over Icon of the Seas has arrived in Florida

The youngest candidate for the title of the largest cruise ship in North America – MSC World America – has arrived in Florida.

The massive 20-deck ship from MSC Cruises-One of the largest that have ever been built by every cruise line sailed on Monday to Miami, after a trip in France, where it had been under construction for almost two years, has been under construction.

The new megaship for the North American market is led from Miami from Miami every Saturday.

In Miami there is already the multi-ball 2-year icon of Sea, the largest cruise ship in the world and so far the undisputed queen bee of the Megacruising universe.

In addition, Miami is the basis for the largest ship of all time by Carnival Cruise Line, the 2-year carnival party.

Royal Caribbean, Carnival and MSC Cruises are the three largest cruise plates in the world and operate many of the largest and most triggered ships in the world.

As TPG saw during a little insight into MSC World America in November, when it was still under construction, the ship was built on a scale in the cruise world.

Huge water strokes, huge pool zones and an impressive inner promenade full of restaurants and bars that can be found on any other ship are among the outstanding features of the ship.

Both MSC World America and Royal Caribbean’s Recording icon of the sea rise to 20 decks.

However, the MSC World America is a bit shorter than the icon of the sea, which leads to a somewhat lower overall size when measured by coarse tons – a measurement of the interior used by shipbuilders.

At almost 216,000 gross tons, MSC World America is the eight-largest cruise ship in the world, which is only Icon of the Seas and the six huge ships in the Oasis class of Royal Caribbean by Royal Caribbean.

The passenger capacity of MSC World America of 6,762 passengers is almost a record for every cruise ship.

In comparison, icon of the sea measures 248,663 gross tons and can hold up to 7,600 passengers with any filled berth. Carnival Celebration measures 183,521 large tons and can hold up to 6,619 passengers.

As with two other ships, MSC World America has a spacious family fun zone on his upper deck, which includes everything from a huge water park with four water members to a rope duct.

The complex describes as a port and is designed in such a way that MSC Cruises has never previously created families with a mixture of aqueous and non -watered attractions, food options and a lounge area.

One of the most impressive elements of the complex is the two -stage soil course of 6,210 quadrat feet, which contains two “Sky Rails” that are similar to a post management line. The area also has an overwhelming swing trip called Cliffhanger and a 11-deck high, dry slide called Jaw Drop @ the Spiral with a shark.

The port is one of three family -friendly areas in the immediate vicinity of each other on the ship, which is known together as families Aventura District. The other two areas are the Doremiland Kids Zone, which has playrooms for children, and the MSC Sportsplex, a multi -use pavilion for bumper cars, roller blading and other family -friendly activities.

MSC World America also has a whopping six pools and 14 whirlpools, including an unusually long main pool that is at sea in the center of one of the largest pool areas.

Like Icon of the Seas, MSC World America’s interior offers a massive inner promenade with restaurants, bars and entertainment areas as well as a outdoor outdoor restaurant and a barzone.

MSC World America is the second ship in the New World Class series from MSC Cruises. The first ship of the series, MSC World Europa, made his debut at the end of 2022 and was specially designed for sailing in Europe.

While MSC World America has similarities to MSC World Europe, about 30% of its public areas differ from those found on the latter ship.

The changes to which the addition of a sports bar in the American style along the outdoor promenade area and an Italian restaurant from Eataly had to appeal to the specific taste of the North American market.

The world-class ships are almost 20% larger than any MSC cruise ship that has come before and in a similar level as the Oasis class ships of the Royal Caribbean, which have dominated the list of the world’s largest, most packed ships for years.

Apart from the six ships of the Oasis class and the Icon of the Seas in Royal Caribbean (the Icon class), the world -class ships from MSC are the only cruise ships in the world that cross 200,000 gross tons.

The two world-class ships are larger and more local than any ship that is operated by Carnival, Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises or another large cruise brand as Royal Caribbean.

As already announced, MSC World America will sail both the eastern Caribbean and the western Caribbean from Miami.

The eastern Caribbean trips of the ship are included in Puerto Plata, the Dominican Republic. San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Ocean Cay, MSC Cruises’ private island on the Bahamas. The western Caribbean sails will contain stops in Costa Maya and Cozumel in Mexico. Roatan, Honduras; and Ocean Cay.

The tariffs for the sails begin at 689 US dollars per person based on the double occupancy.
