Jacksonville Jaguar’s Center Mich Morse retired

The Jacksonville Jaguars will now be on the market for a new start center, with the experienced Lineman Mitch Morse to retire.

The former election of the second round in Kansas City, Morse, was signed as Free Agent from the Buffalo Bills. Mitch was a four-season starter in Kansas City and played under Doug Pederson as an offensive coordinator. He then signed at the Buffalo Bills, where he played five seasons and made an appearance of 2022 per bowl. He was initially brought in in the middle of the offensive line as a stabilizing presence to compete with the reigning center Luke Fortner. After Morse deserved the starting place, he started every game in the 2024 season.

According to the publication of the team:

Morses’s announcement means that the Jaguars could have a fourth start center in five seasons in 2025. The long-time starter Brandon Linder retired before the 2022 season after the beginning of 2014 to 2021, with Luke Fortner 2022-2023 started in the position.

This announcement follows the new league year, in addition to the pending loss of the unrestricted Free Agent Right Guard Brandon Scherff. Jacksonvilles laundry list with immediate needs was only a little longer, with the free agency approaching.

Enjoy the beaches, Mitch.
