Jasprit Bumrah surpasses Ashwin's all-time record and reaches a new high in the ICC Test rankings

NEW DELHI: The new year brings a silver lining for fiery pacer Jasprit Bumrah Border Gavaskar Trophy Gloom. He achieved the highest ever rating score for an Indian bowler, cementing his position at the top of the ICC men’s ranks Try the bowling rankings after an extraordinary nine-wicket win in the fourth Test in Melbourne.

Aiden Markram’s outstanding performance took him to 16th place while Nitish Kumar Reddy moved to 53rd place. Sean Williams reached 19th place with 653 points, setting a new benchmark for Zimbabwe since 2014.
Afghanistan’s Rahmat Shah and Hashmatullah Shahidi achieved their country’s highest individual scores, moving to 52nd and 57th respectively.
